Get ready for an extraordinary snow event: sport, adrenaline and fun at the foot of Monte Rosa!
On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the beautiful resort of Gressoney-Saint-Jean will be transformed into the beating heart of snow racing with the Leonardo David illuminated slope hosting two unmissable competitions:
Italian “VERTICAL” SkySnow Championships An unprecedented competition for 2025! The best athletes will compete uphill on a 3 km course with 700 meters of positive height gain, illuminated by the magic of the Leonardo David slope. The finish line will be set at an altitude of 2022 meters at Casa Capriata, for a truly exciting finish. The race is part of the prestigious NORTEC SKY SNOW RUNNING CUP 2025 circuit powered by SCARPA.
Trial “CLASSIC” - 4th edition A loop course of about 9.5 km with 800 meters of positive and negative elevation gain. Participants will climb up the illuminated slopes to Casa Capriata, then descend through the blue slope to the finish line located at the start of the Weissmatten chairlift. A breathtaking challenge for snow running enthusiasts!
Sport Haus will be the event headquarters: here you can pick up your bibs, use the post-race showers, attend the traditional pasta party and watch the awards ceremony.
